Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

If you have no drive then I have heard the following:

You can either use a modified 'a drive' as a replacement. 
I do recall someone mentioning how to alter one.

There are now SD card replacements for the drive.
Suspect the first option is technically awkward but cheap and
the latter easier but expensive.

It is also possible to get the 'd cable' or modify a pc one.
This can apparently damage pc/fz if correct cable not used.
It also needs software.

Not sure there are any easy solutions.
I would like more info myself as I rue the day my drive may fail!
