It should be the part > settings/coarse tune parameter for the MC505... > Of course it makes a difference, if you are transposing the MIDI rather than the receiving device, then you can jack that MIDI to any receiving device with the correct transposition, otherwise you would have to transpose each receiving device seperately (and if the receiving device has no transpose function, you're out of luck).
