well, cleaning the switches didn't do much good.
looks like i'll have to replace all of the contacts on the control 
panel:(
would anyone have a ballpark figure on what something like that would 
cost?

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
