if you want the best editor, you should check out the atari based
editor from Nigel Stanley! It has many nice features which are very
helpful to programm the vz... You will need Steem atari emulator...

Join this group http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/CZ-VZ-Files/
and take a look in the files area under vz software.

Midi quest is good as a libarian but it sucks as an editor imho...
