Re: [CZsynth] my CZ1000 forgets sounds after 5 day

Hi,

I'm not sure about the cz1000 but I have a cz101 and a 5000. The cz has a battery compartment which takes 6 batts, when these are in they preserve the memory data. Check if your 1000 has a battery compartment ,if it does theres your answer.

Another trick that sometimes works is to switch the APO switch to on just before turning the 1000 off this somehow keeps the data in the buffer. I never have batteries in my 101 and it looses its memory if I disconnect the adapter cord, you could try to leave the power lead in but turn off the mains ,leaving the plug in the socket, this way the 1000 should retain a small current enought to retain the memory.

alternately you could scour around for some RA5 cartridges to store the data on, but they are rarer than rocking horse shit, if by chance you do find some they also need batteries replacing about every year.

good luck!

Dael
