Re: [CZsynth] Re: flashing power light problem on cz1000?

I bought my PS at Radio Shack for about $15. To keep it secure in the CZ, I bent the center pin slightly. It works fine.

Make sure you have the correct polarity on the plug from the PS.

I've had my CZ-101 since 1983. I lost the original power supply years
ago. There are a number of different sized power plugs available that
will fit into the CZ's power jack. I don't know exactly which size
was used on the original, so I've had to experiment with a few
different sizes to find one that will work. My findings are that some
of the sizes are 'close enough' to use, but can cause the center pin
on the keyboard to 'open' if wiggled the right way. My power LED
flashes when this happens. I have to be careful with the plug I'm
using as it will disengage if I'm not paying attention while moving
the keyboard around. Just a thought that might help here.

i've got corrosion in the battery compartment from leaky batteries
and that stops them from doin' their thang. that's happened before
  with my other cz.
