There is a switch on the side that, when set, automatically powers down the CZ1000, when not in use for 5 minutes or so. That may be it. Or, it may mean low batteries.

Subject: [CZsynth] Re: flashing power light problem on cz1000?
hi all,
thanks for the replies :)
the light isnt really flickering. the flashing is periodic, like the cz
is trying to be tell me something.
i could swear that the one time i read the manual a long time
ago (i must have seen a manual in a store somewhere and read
it real fast), i read that this flashing stuff means something. like
you turn on the keyboard while holding down a certain key and
the keyboard goes into some mode or something and you get
this flashing light.
can anyone out there with a cz-1000 or cz-101 manual verify this?
peace from brooklyn,
evan
