Ah, very nice that you got it sorted out.
You can upload patches in syx. format using Cakewalk I suppose.

But I can recommend Midi Ox also.

First make a back-up of your own patches though.

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
