Boss VF-1 Effect Processor

Hi,
I have Boss Vf-1 and FCB1010. I configured my stuff to
on/off effects on Vf-1. But the problem is, when I
push switches once, it doesnt do the job, I have to
push two times to on/off an effect. 
So, does anybody knows wher the problem is ?
