Not a vibe player, but guitar/keyboard.

Don't know if you already made a decision but I can tell you that the VF-1
makes your vibraphone very much a different instrument, much much more
possibilities, better/different sounding.

At least that's what I would expect, bought my VF more then a year ago, use
it almost every day, mainly for my synth's/sampler, still very happy with
this unit..
