S-Ram Questions

S-Ram Questions

Hi there. Does an S-Ram card have a battery? Or is it like Flash?

I am thinking of getting a 4MB Card. Will the Andy handle that?

The S-Ram card does have a battery. I can't tell you exactly what battery unless I remove it from the card. I bought a used card and replaced the battery when I got it. I had a replacement battery on hand so it is commonly available. The S-Ram card I have is 2 MB which holds 5 banks of single patches and 3 banks of multi combination patches. I don't know if the Andy will handle a 4 MB card.

I don't know if they still stock it, but a call to them might turn up a lead on where to buy one. I paid $40 for mine back in 2008.
