Syncing Sequencer to MIDI on A6

Syncing Sequencer to MIDI on A6

2006-01-20 by dalimaster2004

Help.
The manual really doesn't cover this well. I have tried tons of ways
of making this work and have come up empty handed each time.

I want to sync the clock for the sequencer (or the arpegiator) to
MIDI. I know there is a function that can allow the clock to sync to
midi and I have used that. However, I cannot get the A6's clock to
sync to midi no matter what I do.

Any one have any suggestions?

Thanks

Go to you computer sequencer and set midiclock to send to the physical
midi channel(of your midi interface i.e) that your A6 is connected to.

then

Press Arp/view botton> press soft bottom no.4(sync) > scroll with the
first left soft knob to clock or midi
Also>> select program channel that you want to sync(black bottons under
the soft bottons) > then press Arp start

then

press play on your computer sequencer and hold a A6's key down.

you got it

OK I admit I am stupid. I realize that now. I had not turned the
sequencer on to send the MIDI clock. Ugh.

Your advice was spot on. Things worked like a hose within three
mouse clicks on the sequencer. Thanks
