you'll find some test patches. try them . especially No . 125 draaien
and maybe 000 default might be useful.
curious to you're results, we'll keep in contact.

thank you
I don't have any memory card, can I still test those files?
Now just a question = do you have a perfect "flat " sound with your
A6 with the default program 000 ? (power on + soft button 1) ?
I always have this slow sweep, there is nothing I can do
Same problem with all factory sounds, always this slow vibrato
Can you please just tell me one example which souds totally "flat"
with your A6, so that I could compare with mine ?

When I play the low keys, the Vibrato is hardly noticeable, but in
the highest keys, it makes all notes sound detuned

an example = preset 47 Da Botz Organ = it's almost as if I had a
Leslie ... same with #51 Silver machine 3
Thanks a lot

yes you can test it , just upload it to any patch desired in the
userbank. if possible download it it makes the following test easier (
see manual under sysex, switched b.e. to download "here")
Another Idea:
take the defaultpatch you mentioned. ( make sure the modulationwheel
is completely down and to be even more sure turn down all the lfo's in
speed . ( just in case these caused it) .
now if you still hear it : does it change when you turn the fine tune
knob of oscillator two ( the one on the right under the big one) ?
if Yes try this : put voice assign to rotate ( to pick a new voice
every time you press a key ). watch the voices used under
global->voxmonitor: do different voices have a different "beat"?
it's normal they all sound a bit different although a beat faster then
lets say once every 4 to 5 seconds to my opinion is too much.
i had a similar problem which in my case was restricted to only some
voices and even to only certain parts of the keyboard. after
establising the problem properly i took advantage of the guarantee and
2out of 8 of the oscillatorchips where swapped.

I'll try this and let you know

that's the nature of analog. is it truly a vibrato (vca modulation) or are
the oscillators beating? what are the results after a complete autotune?

i agree on that one (sorry, for reacting so lately)
the a6 chips in all a6's are the same as well as the rest.
( not meaning that every osc/ filter within your a6 sounds the same)
red or blue a6 , the difference as far as i know is mainly optical.

ARE? all A6's identical? I bought one about a year ago, I had waited so long because of the problems existing with the first couple generations...(the impetus to buy finally came because of a smokin! deal)
