One of the soft button power-up resets does this.. Anyone have a
manual handy?

Hi there,
See page 269 of the manual, "Power Up Modes"

Power up while holding Soft Button 3:  Hard Reset.
-- Initializes all user RAM.  Warning, this will erase
all User Programs and Mixes, replacing them with
factory default User Programs and Mixes!

Power up while holding Soft Button 4:
-- Initializes all Global parameters, including tuning
tables.

There are a total of 8 Power Up Modes.
