Andromeda A6 Signal Path Charts

Hi, wanted to drop by to share this: It's odd that we never released the signal path charts to the A6 analog section(s). On this, nearly its birthday again (counting from when it shipped), here are the signal schemos.. http://www.pacificnet.net/~peake/assets/A6_ASO_Large.jpg Oscillator Chip http://www.pacificnet.net/~peake/assets/A6_ASF_Large.jpg Filter Chip Note that there are underscores in the names, and some computers seem to turn these into hash, so, a link to the overall directory: http://www.pacificnet.net/~peake/assets/ There are still a few short soundbite mp3s of the first Andromeda beta unit(s) in there, some played by David Bryce, such as: http://www.pacificnet.net/~peake/assets/Rocker.wav http://www.pacificnet.net/~peake/assets/Gothic.wav These may not be the most recent versions of the signal flow (note the two switches for selecting hard and soft sync, versus having a null node and one switch). The gist is there, however. Note the simultaneously available analog noise and audio-rate FM paths. The initial voice included diode-based signal shaping, etc. but things like that were excluded in the interest of chip size (and actually finishing the instrument!) Here are a couple of items from the testing phase: http://www.pacificnet.net/~peake/assets/SEM_Amp_Env.jpg Shows the response that makes the SEM a nice percussion module. This is the internal envelope, not a Programmer envelope. http://www.pacificnet.net/~peake/assets/Sys700_Amp_Env.jpg A screenshot showing the VCA response of the 700 with the envelopes at their minimum times, about 1.3ms.
