Alesis Andromeda A6

Hi Guys, 

I have been trying to send patches to and from the Andromeda. I am 
using a utility called MIDIOX, i can send patches from the A6 to my 
PC, but i cannot send patches back from PC to A6. I have tried 
different utilities, however, the way the A6 works is, if you send 
some wrong data, it will simply crash. At the moment, this is not too 
good for me, as i would like to save my patches on my PC. Has anyone 
here used a safe utility to save/send patches from PC to the 
Andromeda.

MIDI OX's default settings don't work so good for big Sysex dumps.  You 
need to adjust two parameters: the buffer settings, and the pause between 
blocks.

I don't have program in front of me, so I might be a little off on where 
these parameters are located.  I believe the buffer settings are under the 
main Configure menu.  Just doubling the buffer size and number of buffers 
should be fine.

I think you have to be in the Sysex window to adjust the pause time.  There 
should be a configure menu there and a parameter named "Pause after F7".  
Make this at least 4 times longer than whatever the default is.
