Alesis Andromeda A6

Hi guys, 

I've always been a loop based hardware type of person. Previously I 
used the Yamaha RS7000 as the sequencer for my Andromeda. 

I recently purchased Cubase. My style of composing is always to 
insert the notes first before making changes to the sound. 

Everytime I compose a loop with cubase to repeat and try make 
changes to a patch in the andromeda, the patch keeps resetting when 
the loop restarts. (for example, if I change the semitone in osc 1 
to +24, it changes back to +0 when the loop retarts). This doesnt 
happen with my other synths. Any idea how to get by this?
