1. It could be a bad component.
2. It could also just be a shoddy connection- i.e., a cold solder joint, an oxidized socket contact (unlikely, because it\u2019s fairly new), or an inadvertent grounding due to conductive debris.
I guess I\u2019ll quit whining about insignificant software issues now... Good luck to you on this.

Greetings,
I've had my A6 Andromeda for about a month (bought used). Here is
what I notice:
OSC 1 voice 2 seems to be shot, but I am not sure.
Here is how I am testing it:
Bypass filters, turn off effects and mods.
Set all volumes to zero except MASTER (full), OSC1 pre-mix 50%, and
LEVEL (full).
select any waveform.
Voice 2 in the voice monitor sounds like a semi-broken saw
regardless of the OSC wave I select whenever it is keyed.
It sounds in "pitch", but it isn't a sin, or tri, or sqr. It sounds
like a saw. closer to negative saw.
If I turn all voices except 1 and 2 off and set poly voice selection
to random, voice 1 sounds great. voice 2 sounds (first with a loud
filter click!), then it plays that broken saw.
If I don't select a wave for OSC1, no "broken saw" sounds. However,
when I turn the pre-filter mix on OSC2 up to 50%, the "broken saw"
bleeds into the voice in OSC 2.
The "broken saw" does seem to change waveshapes when I select a
different wave, it simply doesn't sound anything like the other 15
voices.
Any ideas what component failure could cause something like this?
Do this sound like a bad oscillator?
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
hs
