Alesis Andromeda A6

Does anyone have any information as to the specific advantages of 
this beefier processor.  Is the the sound better becuase of it or can 
stranger/phatter sounds be created with it than boards with less 
powerful chips.  Does anyone have any specific information regarding 
DSP specs as related to sound.  Theoretically shouldn't the ion be 
able to create a more accurate analog wave form.
