Not that the Q ges obsolete, it will still be very good in the "absolutly" digital kind of sounds...you know the "comb filter and Fm kind of stuff". I have both, and love them but...I am starting to think about selling my Qkbd... One are where the Q shines and the A6 "not very much" is in the "electro" percussion area...lke, extremely fast modulated stuff...that's one point I think the Q outwins the A6. BUT for pads, strings, warm ambience, bass, leads...thats A6 ;) Best, Paulo RENGA Moreno said: > Hi all, > > I am maybe in the proces of buying a 100% Analog synth. > But for the price it costs, i realy have to think twice and need advise. > I already have these very good synths: > - Waldorf Q > - Waldorf Microwave XTk. > I was wandering if there is a real noticable difference between the VA > of this synth (Q) and the real analog stuff. > In wich terms would the difference be noticable??? > I already listened a A6... > the thing is that i can't realy judge as the store has another kind of > environement room compared to my homestudio. > > Would my Q become obsolete if i get a A6??? > > Thanks for your help guys, > Best regards. > > Moreno > > > To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: > Andromeda_A6-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com > > > > Your use of Yahoo!
