Hi all,

I found an example using the Nordic nRF2402 however is there some other
company that makes the same tranceiver in a diffrent package?

Hi Javier,


The 2402 is only a transmitter, the 2401 is a transciever.

Most of the 2.4GHz transceiver I've looked at are proprietary and different in the protocols and frequencies they use in the 2.4GHz band unless you specifically go for Bluetooth or Zigbee for example.

Have a look at the Atmel ATR2406. It doesn't have a protocol built into the transceiver as does Nordic and Chipcon so you are just sending and receiving bytes but the power out and sensitivity are both very good so it might be better if you might need to go some distance. Also the demo boards are good with a good basic design with an ATR2406 hooked up to a ATMega88.
