hello guys

i am using SN54C3232 level converter and i dont get a consistent data. 
SN65C3232 has 2 channels.One works fine but the other doesnt. i tried 
printing thesame characters on 2 UART's connected to the level 
converter. Then using a scope, i measured the waveforms and voltages. 
At the MPU output, (input to the level converter), i got exactly 
thesame waveforms. But at the levelconverter outputs, the waveforms 
are similar but the voltages are not the same. one works fine and 
according to the waveform on the datasheet (about 6V difference 
between high and low) but the other has higher voltages. what could be 
the posible problem?
