   Please explain a little more about what it is you are actually
attempting to do.

   In so far as "reading" a PWM signal is concerned, all you need to do
is attach an input pin the to PWM line.  An optical isolator for spike
suppression, and a low pass filter for noise rejection would probably be
a good idea.

   Depending on the carrier frequency of the PWM signal, processing all
5 signald may be doable on a single AVR, but that doesn't seem highly
likely, as most useful PWM syustems use carriers of high enough
frequency to limit that.
