Usually rely on the AVRFreaks or go to avr@atmel.com to ask a question. I was out of the processor realm for about 15 years and had to re-wet my feet. AVRFreaks tend to be a bit contentious at times but there is a wealth of knowledge and experience. No personal experience with the 169 but every project has it's kicks to the groin.
