It is also my experience that just about anything you order from Digi- Key that they claim to stock is in stock and ready to ship. I find this to be slightly less so at Mouser. In either case, you can fiddle with your order on-line to work around out-of-stock parts. Mouser has on one occasion messed me up by claiming stock on line and then not being able to ship. Digi-Key have better handling of second shipments in an order and do it at their expense. Mouser charge you again unless you use UPS ground, which is not my preferred shipping method. To order from Digi- Key, I had to request an on-line account and wait a day or so. Digi- Key use recycled and recyclable packaging. Mouser use bubble-wrap. I am fortunate to have an electronic components supply store in the area I live and have no need of Radio Shack. I wonder how many of these stores are around these days? Graham.
