Hold the presses.  I thought you said there was no $$ until you hit 
level 5 ?

If it is paying bills, then do what the customer wants !


I've had customers tell me exactly how they wanted things.  To which 
I would report, technalally, why it could not be done that way, 
but... if that is the way it is required, that is the way it will be 
delivered.

More than one 'error' that brought sense back to the documentation.  
gotta love it when you can put out a letter that is 6 months old that 
details the problem.

Just to reminiss, I designed a job that we lost, a fortune 500 
company got.  failed on, got sued, and the court ordered that we do 
it to validate that it could be done the 'exact way' it was detailed 
and with the parts available at the time of the project.

My parent company yelled at me at the time of the origional 
enginnering, griped when they had to certify that the parts supplied 
years later were available earlier.

I laughed and cried in the end.  we only supplied one unit of the 
100.  proved I was right from the beginning. and since it was a gov't 
job they just ended the project and started from scratch.

But, if this is paying the bills, full speed ahead !
