Drum track and SMTP24 Steinberg

Hi,

I use Cubase Audio Falcon with a SMTP24 Steinberg. Curiously I can't use a drum track with any of my expanders. If I shift the track on drum mode, no sound. I have to left it on midi mode.

Have someone an explanation about this ?

I don’t know but just a guess:

Are you sure that drum part in your expanders is on MIDI channel 10?

Drums are usually assigned to this channel.

Probably this sequencer sends data from Drum track on this channel.

Maybe you can change assignment of drum track to other channel.

Hi

I am not a newbie with midi world. The drum track is on channel 10. It sounds but in midi mode track only, not in drum mode.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
