Hi Luke
& welcome to the world of Atari midi.
I don't know where you can get MidiQuest these days, but if you are
having problems with your setup please give us some more details so we
can help.
What computer & o/s ?
How it is connected? .
What exactly is the problem ?

Regards,
Simon

No need for rudeness, Simon. I am trying to unsubscribe via a webmail account and it will not do so directly from webmail. Maybe you should ask politely first before assuming that sarcasm is appropriate.

hmm, well if your previous email, in upper case, with this demand in
it
"UNSUBSCRIBE"
isn't some degree of impolite I must have been asleep for the last
twenty internet years.
If you have a problem with your Yahoo Atari midi archives account that
you cannot solve with the links at the bottom of each mail it might be
more effective to email me 'off list' for a resolution.

Simon

Simon, I have never been a member of this group and I have never been a party to any rules governing the use of the group or email, so your assumption that I would know how to go forward from an inability to unsubscribe and do a request for off-list is actually not helpful. Someone with this address in years past obviously was part of the group. I attempted over quite some time to get them to address the issue but they would not. I would imagine they are no longer part of the list since they did not deal with it.

There were no capital letters in the text of my email. It is not rudeness to use caps in a re line to capture attention, nor is it a demand - it is common practice. It is indeed rude to use caps within the body as that is interpreted as yelling, but that is not the case yere.

Could I please just get some help with this? Thanks very much.

According to the Yahoo records someone at your email address
subscribed to this list on April 6th 2006.

I will now unsubscribe this address manually as it seems to be
problematic for you.
