I no longer own my QY10. Yes, I can understand your frustrations with the
General MIDI soundset. But there are plugin synths out there (for PC) that
can sythesize any sweep, gurgle, fizzle, pwow, or yyyyyow that you can
imagine.
At the same time, I understand the longing for sounds I used to have, even
when it is irrational. I had a little Casio keyboard about 15 inches by 3
inches by 1 inch that also had a built in calculator. It had the cheesiest
sounds, but sometimes I wish I hadn't yard saled it. They actually used it
in a car commercial a couple years ago---oh the memories....so I understand.
