hey bunch i got a technical question...

in a type one midi file (multiple tracks)
whats the algo rhythm like when dealing with
delta times,
status events
and
 meta events?

i have my midi file player written into basic computer language
  but the events are all screwwy...only in a type one file format...

so my question is??
if the next event  is not a status event and the delta time is 0 ,
i can read it directly and out to midi port? ,
 or
 is it imparitive that i go back and deduct the first delta from the array
and then sift the lowest delta time out of the bunch   and then  play from
that track?

any experienced users  know this?
