hello mark , well i guess i can take the words out of tims mouth ....no not only doctor T , i did enter this thread half way through......so i have no idea where it started .... from what i understand is that your searching for a good algo composer....in any case ,LUDWIG,is your direction. it houses most features and functions expected of a "algo-auto-random-variable-compo-tool !!!!!".

hybrids arts is great ...by far!!!! . in addition ludwig allows the user to save file as midi. limitless control over segmented parts then manipulate with counter-actions...
