Are there any vintage funk patches out there ?

Are there any vintage funk patches out there ?

2005-11-18 by Mo Cheez

Could someone point me to some good old-school funky sounds, hip-hop stuff and vintage
moog-oriented cheesy patches for the AN1X? I was not pleased with most of the factory
sounds (too house-trance-techno for me) but still I could feel the huge amount of
possibilities within the beastÂ… I don't feel like browsing all patches archives so if anyone
knows good stuff that might fulfill my needs, well, thanks in advance!

Go to the Files directory here at Yahoo! Groups and start with the Yamaha UK archive:

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files/

there's a decent bank of Moog emulations in there.

You'll be the best judge of what might meet your needs, suggest you learn to roll your own
patches or solicit advise on how to program specific type sounds.
