Hello co-owners of an AN1x. I recently bought an AN1x and I want to 
use the controls to control instruments in Reason 3. Is it possible to 
control e.g. OSCA from a mallstrom with the controls while VCO1 is 
selected? I don't want to use the override mapping in Reason. Thanks

Under UTILITY/SETUP, select Ctrl Device to choose the controller you wish to update - 
Knob1 for example. Then use Ctrl No. to assign the MIDI CC which corresponds to the 
OSCA in Mallstrom (sp?) Repeat for each AN1x Controller you need to reassign to match a 
function in Reason. Select Assign from the Knob Paremete Group and te display will update 
with transmitted MIDI CC and value.

The down side to this approach is that these settings are Global, i.e., set at the system 
level not at the Voice level. The limitation being you have to reassign MIDI CCs unless 
you're going to stick with the same set of MIDI CC assignments. You could work around 
this by keeping a number of SysEx dumps of the System settings on hand and load them 
as required, but that seems an awful lot of time and effort to me.
