Happy New Year

Happy New Year

2005-01-02 by spaceanimals

On New Year's Eve I skiied for 3 hours, then I played at the Legion
Hall for from 9 PM to 1 AM. So New Year's Day I crashed. Spent the
day playing with the An1X edit, drawing in tuning drift in the free
eg.

Here's my New Year's resolutions:

I'm getting a lighter speaker. I love playing keys through a tube
amp, but the 15 inch Fender Bassman 70 speaker is too dang heavy. I'm
going to upgrade to a 2x12 cab.

I'm going to put together a mix of my presets, with some of the list
presets, and the factory presets. I spent some time yesterday making
sure the modwheel and the ribbon controller actually do something
with every patch. Mostly I use the leads and a few of the comp sounds
so that's what I'm concentrating on.

I'm going to spend more time playing music, playing with kids, and
taking long walks with the dog.

Hope everyone has a happy, healthy New Year.

Sound's good - especially the part about the wheel and ribbon doing something
for every patch. As a kid, my mom used to get all uptight about me adjusting
the TV all the time. But then as now it goes like this, "That's what they put
the knobs there for, Mom!"

Happy New Year

2008-12-31 by rainbowjimmy

Hope you all have a substantially better New Year. My New Year's
Resolution is to finally figure out the AN1X's sequencer, get my
ancient copy of Rebirth running on my Vista computer, and become a rich
and famous down tempo, electro lounge, and chill out producer.

Space Animals have a gig tonight. We're playing for free so that means
I can make weird noises.

Happy New Year

Sorry for the late blessing Jimmy. I hope your gig went spectacularly.

Here’s a prayer for you – and all of our AN series analog emulation
synthesizers:

Enable these musicians, composers and creative folks to produce
sounds/music/sequences/arpeggiations/sonic twitching/cacophony as well as
any and all pressures toward the new, old but inspired and sort of
known-renown that might come uip with a unique feeling and/or compositional
form.

Happy New Composing Year,

Ed²
