Avoiding Program Change MIDI message ?

Avoiding Program Change MIDI message ?

2004-08-18 by modulardiyer

Hi,

I'd like to know if it's possible to filter Program Change MIDI
messages from the AN1x synth ?

or rather from ProTools ?

Regards,
Emmanuel

Don't know - should be in the user guide/reference manual.

There's no way to avoid Program Changes being sent by the AN1x. But most
sequencing software packages have many filtering options that can be
applied, including Program Changes, etc.... I'm not familiar with Protools
but I'm sure it can do that.

Midi filtering capabilities can also be found in certain midi patch bays,
handy for live gigs without a computer.
