Diffrent effects on each scene?

Diffrent effects on each scene?

2004-08-03 by Alien Martian

Hi,
I was setting up mophing between scenes, I found that
you can not have diffrent effect on scene1 in relation
to scene2.If I change the effect parameter on scene,it
will change effect paramter on the other scene.

Is there a way round this?

According to the manuals you can only moph between
scenes using the same voice with variying parameters
in each scene.
If however, you setup morphing and on scene2 for
example you change the parameters to your hearts
content....you then actually have created another
voice on scene2.So dose this mean you can morph
between 2 voices?

Regards
Alien

Absolutely.

You can copy a voice (scene) into the other available space for the patch from
anywhere else. Then you can (try) morphing. YYMV --- remember that if a scene
has the oscillators in other octaves this will result in a pitch climb or fall
until you morph to the other voice.

So - even though it may seem cool at first to be able to morph between any two
sounds the results can get really ugly and useless. When you tweak the
parameters for each scene to be more compatible the morphing is more musical and
useful. Unless you like to use ugly.
