There's a tempo setting on the AN1x that controls the arp and
sequencer. Does that also control the tempo of the tempo delay?

Also, I know there some conversion charts but can someone tell me
what number I set the LFO to get 120 bpm?

Last night I got a fuzzy organ patch, set the arp, then turned up the
LFO until it sounded about right-had the LFO set to sample and hold
controling the sync pitch and the filter, had a tempo echo going at
3/8 and had my handy phase shifter plugged in also syched up with a
sample and hold LFO on bi-phase. Quite the wall of sound. I need a
way to monitor this in stereo.

Thank you

The TempoDly effect will synchronize to either:

a) the internal clock that drives the Arp/Seq
or
b) to incoming MIDI Clock when the Tempo is set to MIDI, i.e., reduce the Tempo to
less than 40 and the display will read 'MIDI'.

In the Documentation directory of our files section here at Yahoo! Groups

http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files

is an Excel spread sheet an-lfo.xls provided by Yamaha that lists the relative values of
the AN1x LFO to actual Hz values. This same spreadsheet is available as a PDF from
the XGFactory web site:

http://www.xgfactory.com/downloads/an-lfo1.PDF

Once you have the Hz value you can calculate the BPM and corresponding beat
divisions.

A quick visit to Shareware Music Machine http://www.hitsquad.com/ will reveal MANY
freeware and shareware Music calculators for just this sort of work.

My current favorite for OS X is 'BPMCalc'. I thought we had a copy of WizCalc for Win
in the Files section butit is no longer there - perhaps I was mistaken...

I would suggest you might find the FreeEG more convienant as it also sync's to either
the Arp/Seq or incoming MIDI Clock. Using a FreeEG Tracks you can record your knob
movements or modulations and set a division of measures using the Length option.

Hi:

My recording software, Reaper, allows me to set up tempo envelopes. If I write a sequence into the AN1X and set the tempo to MIDI, will the sequence speed up and slow down?
