There is no shortcut to Initialize all 128 Voices in the AN1x simultaenously - only one
Voice at a time. As mentioned in the previous reply - you might be able to perform
this task from AN1xEdit by loading an emply, default bank into the AN1x.

For details on how to perform the Voice Init from the AN1x, see page 97 of the
Owner's Manual. To summarize: Enter [130] from the keypad - press [YES/ENTER] -
reply [YES/ENTER] and "Type? 1-8" will display. Select the template Type[1-8] from
the keypad to proceed.

1= Normal, 2 = Bass, 3 = Brass, 4 = Strings, 5 = E. Piano, 6 = Organ, 7 = Sync, & 8 =
PWM There are a number of Voice Creation Examples onpages 101-108 I suggest you
try out if you're new to the principles of Subtractive Synthesis.

The best way to do this is surely simply to dump the factory
voice set in via MIDI....?

will this leave me with 128 empty voices? might try it

Re: clearing all voices...

No, it will not.

You can either a) try and dump an empty, initialized bank of 128 Voice from
AN1xEdit, i.e., the default bank of initialized Voices or b) initialize each Voice
individually as needed or c) initialize a single voice on the AN1x, dump it to
AN1xEdit, Copy/Paste this single, initialized voice to all 128 programs withinin
AN1xEdit THEN dump the whole lot back into AN1xEdit.

To be quite honest, I fail to see the benefit to your programming effort of an AN1x
with 128 initialized Voices!?
