Oh yeah, Pete, excellent purchase for the AN1x.  (I'm giving away one of my
trade secrets here -- I use 2 FC7s, much more than the ribbon or knobs
because I've got two hands on the board pretty often.)

One thing though, I did notice the rubber cover on the FC7 is pretty
easy to take off.  I hope I don't loose it as that's part of what makes
it so comfortable to use.  I guess there's always super glue but then
it'd turn into a mess once the rubber starts to wear out.  I've even
noticed that it changes the wah on patches that have that too right out
of the box.

FWIW, I've had an FC-7 for more than 10 years, and the rubber boot hasn't ever fallen off or anything.  It lifts a little on a couple of the edges, but stays put overall.
