Hi,
I have set the An1x to transmit and recive on midi ch3.In cubase I have selected midi ch3.However the sw1000xg and my dx150 plg card work fine when playing back midi.Some how I do not get any sound from an1x when cubase plays back recorded midi data.

Let's focus ONLY on the AN1x...leave the S1KXG and DX150 out of the 
picture for the time being...

Have you set the MIDI Rc channel on the AN1x in the correct SCENE?

Each SCENE in a VOICE can be set to an independent MIDI Ch. You may 
have inadvertantly set the MIDI Ch. in the wrong SCENE.  The VOICE 
must be in Dual mode for each SCENE to respond to independent MIDI 
Channels.

Yes both scenes are set to midi ch3.And I can use an1xedit fine in cubase,just having dificulty playing back midi.

My midi cables are AN1X midi out going into SW midi in and SW midi out going into An1x midi in.

In cubase I have:
 midi input= as sw1000 in
midi output as= Midi Yoke NT1,SW1000 synth1 and 2

In An1xedit I have 
Midi input =none
Midi Output=SW midi out

However, just so you know that xgedit and DX simulator work fine in cubase including midi playback as follows:

Xgedit
midi in =none
midi out A=SW1000 synth2
midi out B= SW1000 Synth3

DX Simulator
midi in=none
midi out=SW1000 synth1

Dmanx, 

You've been on this list for how many years now? And for the entire duration of your 
membership you've consistentlty demonstrated disregard for the advice and solutions 
provided to you by constantly reposting paraphrased questions that have already 
been asked and answered (frequently, I might add.)

You appear to be either unwilling or incabale of participating on this list in a manner 
that demonstrates regard for the time and effort spent by list members to assist you 
- I'll no longer permit this to continue.

Please consider this topic to be curbed - feel free to make use of the list archives in 
your troubleshooting effort.
