Scene Morph Question

Scene Morph Question

2003-04-19 by Warren Herron

Hello All,
I'm wondering if I have missed something in the manual or if this is
"normal." If I set up two totally different scenes on a patch and set
it to morph with the mod wheel, the morph seems lame compared to the two
scenes. It's like it doesn't ever do the real scenes at the ends of the
wheel motion. I'd really like to get more contrast out of it, but I
can't seem to get it to work. I always get the stuff "in between" the
two scenes. Weird.
Is there some "level of morph" parameter I don't know about?

Thanks in advance for any help...

My experience is similar but different. I get scene 1 accurately, but
I don't get all the way to scene 2 in some patches. One way to test
this is to flip the scenes and try the morph again.

I notice this primarily where filter settings are concerned
(resonance, cutoff). The oscillator (for example if I set the
oscillator pitches differently) settings seem to morph all the way.
When I want to go closer the scene 2 aspect of the morph, I flip the
scenes. Or I accentuate scene 2, expecially the filtar settings.

No there is no "degree of scene morph" setting. Hope this helps,

Jerry
