Still needing help!

I posted a request for help about a month ago, but I still can not
get the AN1x Editor to work on my PC. I've got the latest version.
I've tried 2 diferent Sound cards (Turtle Beach Montego & Sound
Blaster). My Midi cable works as my AN1x can be used to play the
sound cards GM sounds.
I think that the problem may be with the MIDI Setup in Windown 98
(I'm using the second Edition). I find the second on setting up MIDI
instruments very confusing. I've tried messing around with the
setting but nothing! Any Suggestions?
