Can anyone give me the recipe for making the sound of the 
aforementioned songs by No Doubt, Pink Floyd, And the Cars. You know, 
that heavy sync sound. My quadrasynth had a good sample of it but I 
dont know how to make one from scratch. Any help would be greatly 
appreciated.  Eric

Check out the stored patches from the "contest" from a month ago in the Files section.  My patches are called "bw_lead.an1"; inside that collection is a patch called Sync Lead that is along the lines you are looking for.  You may need to tweak the sync level and pitch a little.  I use it for the Cars' "Let's Go" and Split Enz' "I Got You."
