Yeah, right. Smartass. :)

The trouble is that, apart from the fact that I don't have much
time, my MIDI system is seriously screwed up. I may need to re-
install Windows NT and that takes me a day - no kidding.

Actually, I'm waiting for mLAN, Socket A/KZ266 mainboards, G800
videoboards - in other words, I want a new PC - and last but not
least, a shitload of money to buy it all. The latter might prove
a bit difficult.

For me its a bad time. I really want to get into programming my An1x but I have three pieces of music to finish by the 19th, a web site to put up, some business cards to design, a B&M short shifter to install in my car, and a full time 45hr per week job, oh yeah and I have to take my girlfriend out so she doesn't feel neglected!
:o)
Anyone have a cloning machine?
Cheers
Grant.

What? You are using MIDI under Windows NT ? Wow...you are brave...

mLAN for your EX5...hehe, that can take quite a while...

It´s called KT266...VIA dropped the "KZ"-one because of the german
history...i´m glad they did...

>G800 videoboards
Hm, nothing in sight. First they will release a G450. Matrox is far
behind 3dFX, S3 and NVidia. I won´t look forward a G800 before
2001.

SCNR, ;)

I just can't make AN1xEdit to output MIDI commands out of my
computer, wich is, you may uderstand, a bit thwarting ...
so I 've tried to put a new soundcard on my old 133PC,to replace
the MPU401 MIDI port that I had..And I bought last week a second
Hand Creativelabs SoundBlasterAwe64Gold(CompatibleSB16aNdAWE32:)
But it still doesn't Work.
I was just trying to ask iff anyone with the same software and
Hardware had meet the same kind of problem...
But maybe the problem is from my motherboard,MatsonicMS6260S,
for the real happy few who have had to deal with it's "soundpro" dos
applications,
and had to flash it..
Well, sorry for beeing that long,I hope someone will understand.

Hm, what is wrong with that MPU401? It should work together with the
AN1x-edit. Did you choose it as the MIDI-out in the setup of AN1x-
edit? (I guess you installed it correctly, didn´t you ;)
With the SB AWE it´s the same...

Well, could be...

Au revoir, Tom

Hmh I've started to work with the PLG AN last week so there is not much to contribute.
I have only 5 patches now. But maybe 5 are better than nothing.

Thanks ...
But you can also upload the patches to the list files archive here:
http://www.egroups.com/files/AN1x-list/AN1xPatches/
(some people don't like it if there's things attached to their mail ;)

I don't see the problem. If we just send the sysex and not the bankfiles the
attached files
are very small

It has already been discussed, and the outcome was that we should use the Files
directory whenever possible.

True, and it wouldn't be a problem for me, but some other ppl on the list have
problems with it, so i guess it's better to do it the way everybody can agree
with.

Hi Mario,
Welcome to the world of the AN1X !
Quite probably the most under-rated, yet powerful VA synth created!
The AN1X is amazing .. it can create everything from beautiful spacey
atmospheres, to the fattest bass & buzziest Saw leads that can put the
Rolands to shame!

Check out this Youtube clip.
A guy going by the name of JayB.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PK4pNCEdn7Y

You can also Download all his patches for FREE, as well as high
quality MP3 demos of the sounds to listen to.

http://jayb.ath.cx/

Johannes Berthold is a superb AW1X expert & probably a member here too
:-) ?

There are of course many other sources both here & on the web.
Enjoy & congrats.
