Hi Dave,

In the Files section of the AN1x-list here at Yahoo! Groups
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AN1x-list/files you will find a
freeware program - AN1xEdit - for both Mac and Win. 90% of the
AN1x Voice on the user group are in .an1 format for AN1xEdit.
The program contains documentation on configuring it to work
with your MIDI Interface. If you have problems you might want to
search the list archives as much ground has been covered
troubleshooting MIDI connections to/from AN1xEdit. If you're still
stuck - post to the list and somebody will try to help.

The other 10% of user voices are typically in .mid or .syx format
and you will need either a software sequencer or generic sysex
utility to load this type of data to your AN1x.

Hope this helps. Welcome to the list.

Jon
