Hi,
I need to use my sw1000xg and plugin board for its on-board midi sounds.And I need to use a low latency 24bit/96khz audio card for soft synths and recording.My question is how would I configure this in cubase so I can record the sw1000xg sounds through this second audio card ?How should it be wired up? do i need any extra gear?How do I connect my midi keyboard to access these 2 cards.
Also the sw1000xg outputs it sounds at 24bit/44.1khz,so how do mix it with sounds recorded from a 24bit/96khz audio card.
Any advise please?

I would think you'd want to take the S/PDIF outfrom the SW1K 
and route it to the 24/96 card S/PDIF input. You'll probably need 
to set the clock rate on the 24/96 to match the SW1K but I 
wouldn't see that as a problem. I can't see any benefit to 
recording the output of the GM sound set at 96kHz ;-) Check your 
manual for specific.

The way that I do it is re-route the output from the one card
back to the input of the other, through a mixer. I have two
cards in my system that I do this with.  

Treat the second card as an external synth ...
