The Yamaha AN1x Synthesizer mailing list

Hi,

I've got an an1x and would like to use its controler-knobs for 
making fades, soundchanges, etc. on softsynths similar to the way you 
can do that with doepfer-controler-boxes.

I would assume that some of you had the same problem and solved it 
somehow. But how? I would be very thankful for some tips on that 
subject. Thanks in advance.

This isn't a 'problem' it's a feature ;-)

You can make custom assignments to the ASSIGN knobs using 
MIDI CC's of your choice. You'd want to assign the MIDI CC 
equivalent to the parameter in your softsynth you wish to modify. 
The Ctrl Device and Ctrl No. items under the UTILITY/SETUP 
menu are used for this purpose.
