Yeah man, I've seriously had at least 5 weird emails in the last few days with things like 'open this .exe to get rid of the new virus' etc...

- some mentioned an1x in the email source.

Yeah - I've had several on Hotmail- despite there being a firewall against 
this- AND i've had one from Gary- from Yamaha as well with an attatchment- I 
doubt if you sent this Gary?- Don't panic because the SirCam that appeared 
just after september the 11th was easily erradicated- just get a virus 
checker which gives you a 28 day trial period- the swiss ones seem the best...

removal tools- and also has an attachment....a ha!!!!

these emails from recipients who didn't send them :-(

aha!- just as I thought!- .exc's and .docs just don't do anything with my 
Mac- I've just run a full check-nothing. There- a second justification to why 
I'm better off with a Macintosh!

No but time to install Linux again on my PC. I hope AN1xedit will 
work under the Windows-Emulator Wine...anyone tried this yet?

Hmm. There are better open source Unix implementations.

Bought by 3COM (of Network and Palm fame). No idea what they want to do with
it, although the be.com domain should be worth a pretty penny. BeOS is very
elegant, and very dead.
