I'll have to talk to my babe about this, it seems she has the same effect on me.

BTW - I echo Jimmy's comments.  Especially compared to other VAs it's cheap and
does a great job.  The free envelope generator is insane... once you get the
hang of it you can get a standard string patch to morph down to stuttering,
babbling sputtle twerps automatically via an envelope that can be up to 8
measures in length or 16 seconds of absolute time.  Really cool.

Finally: CALLING ALL MIDI GURUS
Does the Free EG send out MIDI events?  I've never tried it.  (looks like no,
via the manual)

No the Free ED does not transmit MIDI events - but what an 
interesting idea! You can use the Step Seq to transmit MIDI 
events but you already knew that.
