Fix: Outboard compressor.
I know some may give me heat for saying this, but it can help prevent needless
speaker damage, at least from an automatic standpoint. I think Mr. Rainbow has
got it right for most situations - if you KNOW that a certain patch is too loud
or too soft, then you'll just have to adjust something real time in a live venue
to compensate. Here we're complaining about an analog modler... does anyone
think the real thing was better?? My JX-10 could make beautiful sounds but the
output levels between patches were infuriating.

It's exactly the same with midi guitar preamp with zillion patches, you just
never get the volumes right...

I might suggest a volume pedal to compensate...

It dosen't bother me- It's not my speaker system!- If an engineer can't give
a toss whether to plug a comp in, that's his/her problem!- But yes you are
absolutely right. (mine goes though one too).
